FAQ
Q Do you have insurance?
A Yes, we have public indemnity insurance up to £5m as well as a CRB. Copies of these are available upon request.
Q What types of paint do you use?
A The face paints we use are hypo-allergenic, water based and FDA EEC regulated. They are made specifically for face painting, such as Paradise, Kryolan, Grimas, Diamond FX, Wolfe, Snazaroo etc. We also use polyglitter. This is especially produced for face painting and is safe to use on the face and body.
Q How do I remove the face paints?
A These paints are easily removed using soap, water and a flannel. If any get onto clothes, they just need a 40º wash with a bit of Vanish.
Q Do you paint young children?
A Face painting a child less than 3 is not advised, although at my discretion we may paint a small design on their cheek, arm or leg.
We will not paint any child who does not want to be painted even at the parents/guardians request.
Q Do you paint people who have skin irritations?
A We cannot paint anyone who has eczema, cold sores, conjunctivitis, head lice, open sores or any other abrasions.
Q Can I be tested beforehand?
A Yes, if you think you/your child may have a reaction, please feel free to ask for a tester on their arm.
Q Can I leave my child with you whilst waiting in the queue?
A No. It is important to supervise any child in your care whilst queuing as we don’t want to step on a child who is behind us.
This also helps to prevent any jogging of our chairs whilst painting, touching our paints etc.
